1. About Shinbashi
After my job, I always go to Shinbashi with my colleague to have a dinner, and sometimes I go there with a friend of mine to go to cafe. When I go back to my home by train, every time the commuter train is jam-packed. Shinbashi is the busiest city in my opinion because everyday business person go to an office to work and they go to Izakaya to have a dinner, drink a lot to forget their stress.

Shinbashi (新橋), which is written “New Bridge” in Japanese Kanji, is located Minato ward Tokyo and it plays significant role of transportation, and commercial center.
Historically, Shinbashi is very important point because Sumida river and Tama river are crossed. Also, their is the Tokido street which is the importance road from Edo, through Kanagawa, Shizuoka, to Kyoto. In order to trade with another region, Shinbashi has been developed by a lot of workers in many kinds of field.

In addition, Shinbashi is known for the beginning of train in Japan. The Tokido Line had started from Shimbashi station to Yokohama station. Now, the Tokido line is connected from Tokyo station to Odawara station where is one of famous sightseeing spot.
Thanks to this historical story in this city, Shinbashi has been developing every day and is known as a business city. Many headquarters are located in Shinbashi and there are many kinds of Izakaya, Cafe and restaurant. To connect to friends, colleagues etc, Shinbashi is the one of entertainment city for not only workers but also visitors.

This is Nitere Big Clock produced by Hayao Miyazaki who is a producer of Ghibli.
2. A Vegan Cafe in Shinbashi
In this part, I’m gonna show you a cafe to have a lunch and next part, I’m gonna introduce 2 food shops I visited to have a dinner.

Here is a cafe:Chaya Macrobi. I visited with a friend of mine at my workplace during undergraduate. It’s for vegan. All foods are no meats, dairy products and chemical seasoning, and are for our health.

I ordered this lunch combo and sparkling wine. Soup, Salad, Multigrain rice and Mackerel. So healthy. To reset my body, I’m having those foods like plant based foods, fish etc.
This cafe is located East Exit (Shiodome Exit) of Shinbashi station and close to Nippon Television. Compared to West Exit (Hibiya Exit: SL Square), it’s very calm and feel relax. Go to cafe in Shiodome and enjoy conversation with your friends.
Chaya Macrobi: Average JPY2,000-3,000
Next chapter, I’m gonna my routine at night and introduce an Izakaya and a restaurant.
