I’m exhausted after my job. Everyday, I get up too early in the morning, work about 8 hours and go back to home. It’s so monotonous life style. So stressful. That’s why once every 2 weeks, I go to somewhere (mostly Shinbashi) with a friend of mine to have a dinner and talk enthusiastically in order to stress!!!
1. Izakaya Hakkaku in Shinbashi
First one is Hakkaku which is expert of Homebred Chicken and Sake. When I go to Izakaya, I always order Chicken. Especially, if a shop has homebred chicken, I eat it.
This shop’s cuisine is so fresh. The texture, taste,,, everything were perfect.
We ordered a combo because it’s easy to order and the shop selects their recommendation.

From top, Appetizer (pickles) Edamame, Salad, Homebred Chicken’s Sashimi (raw chicken), grilled Homebred Chicken and Hotpot.
Actually, most Izakaya’s combo is like this, appetizer, small dish, main dish like beef chicken etc, Hotpot with noodle, rice and desert. If you confuse whether you should order or not, why don’t you order a combo? Or, try to select 2-3 small dishes, one main dish, one carbohydrates’ dish and one desert.
Hakkaku: Average JPY4,000-6,000
2. A Gorgeous Restaurant in Shinbashi

Second one is a restaurant called Bantetsu where is located at Carrete Shiodome 46F. Normally, restaurants on the top of floor like this restaurant is very expensive but offer tasty foods. BUT, this restaurant is so reasonable that we chose this restaurant to have a dinner.

All dinner menus are a course. When you make an appointment, you need to select a course. We chose Japanese beef and seasonal ingredients with all-you-can-drink course. It was for the first time in a while for a friend of mine and I so, we were looking forward to having a dinner.

First, I ordered a glass of sparkling wine. Cheers!!!

The appetizer was Japanese egg custard with beef taste (tyawanmushi:่ถ็ข่ธใ)

A small dish was this: Tuna sushi, Apple Mascarpone and sliced crab with ใpuree.

A soup was Homebred chicken and Japanese parsley. It was heated on iron plate.

A salad was mushroom and spinach.

A seafood was Meuniere of Monkfish.

In order to reset our mouth, they gave us orange sherbet.

The main dish was Japanese beef’s stake.

A final dish was Yakisoba.

A desert was gelato.
That’s all.
Every foods were authentic and delicious. Shop clerks select seasonal and fresh ingredients. But price is so reasonable. I’ll visit there again and order another course. Also, lunch time is available. If I have time during holiday, I’ll bring my friends and enjoy to have a lunch and chat!

If you chose window seats, you can also enjoy to see night view. (When I booked, all window seats were full…)
Bantetsu: JPY7,500-15,000
