In 2024, a half year has just passed. Since I started writing blog, I’ve visited a lot of Izakayas and restaurants. In this part, I’d like to introduce my favorite restaurants from last December,2023 to last June,2024. Mainly, those restaurants are located on Tokyo but some of them are in another area. If you bother to decide dinner place, check this page and I hope you’ll enjoy having the greatest dinner!

1. Soba: Ishizuka
This soba restaurant is the most famous in Shimoda, Izu area. The flavor, the texture, everything is perfect. I ordered a combo of soba and tempura. It was for the first time to have the greatest soba.
Last time was not sightseeing season, so I could have soba at 1:30pm. However, during season, you have to wait at least 10-20 minutes and if soba is sold out, you can’t have soba. At lunch time, it’s better for you to visit at opening time, 11am.

2. The Vegetable House: Yasaiya Mei
“All ingredients are gift from farm.” They use fresh vegetable and create original fermentation cuisines.
I visited here at lunch time and a combo started a salad, then had many small dishes and soba. It’s so healthy and delicious. I’m wondering how they create original delicious vegetable dishes!

3. Chaya Macrobi
This cafe is vegan cafe. This cafe is also use fresh organic vegetables and create healthy plant based cuisine.
I ordered this one. I sometimes cut animal products and have plant based and get nutrition from fish. It’s best for your health. Try this cafe with your friend and enjoy to have healthy foods and talk with your friend!

4. Chinese Restaurant: Kinri
Here is my favorite Chinese restaurant: Kinri in Yokohama Chinatown.
This restaurant offers authentic ethnic cuisine in China. They use a lot of ingredients with chili pepper. I ordered Zasai, Eight Treasure Greens, Chili noodle, Shark fin’s soup. I love spicy dishes so I really wanna visit Kinri again! Plus, this restaurant performs Musk Show. Check the website and make your plan!

5. Shabushabu: Tsukada
Here is one of a Shabushabu restaurant. Basically, there are many Shabushabu restaurant. But, most of them are chained restaurant and price is reasonable so, those restaurants are for families and students.
Compared to those Shabushabu restaurant, here is not. The owner takes a long time to select fresh beefs, porks and vegetables. In addition, as you see this picture, the hotpot is individual. Normaly, a hotpot including Shabushabu is big dish and share with your family and friends. In this restaurant, a small hotpot is offered for each customers so, for one person travel customers, I strongly recommend you to visit here!

6. Oden: Samon
Here is Oden restaurant in Nakameguro. I used to go to Nakameguro to practice dance and on the way to a dance studio, I’d love to go there. Finally, I hanged out with my bestie in Nakameguro and I could visit here.
This oden restaurant is expert of chicken based soup. That’s why, when you see the menu, you have a choice of chicken’s parts as Oden. So unique restaurant that why don’t you try oden in Nakameguro!?

7. The Table
Here is fashionable original cuisine restaurant in Yuigahama, Kamakura. First of all, the location is very good. It located on tranquility resident area, and it takes about 5 minutes from seaside. To date with your partner, meet with your bestie, The Table is best restaurant to have a dinner!
Basically, customers order a combo. All menus are used fresh ingredients from Kamakura area’s farm. To express the best flavor of ingredients, they create original cuisines. To take important time your besties, try to come this restaurant.

8. Bantetsu
The most outstanding character is location. It located on a building 46F so, when you visit here, the night view is very beautiful. Also, they offer seasonal ingredients and tasty wine. To taste authentic Japanese foods, why don’t you come this restaurant!

9. Izakaya: Gonpachi
Gonpachi is the typical Japanese Izakaya and people from all over the world will be able to familiar with Izakaya. For them, everything are prepared. For example, there is a English menu, vegetarian menu, halal meals ( must make a reservation in advance) etc. To be honest, in Japan, Gonpachi is the only one Izakaya for customers from all over the world.

10. BBQ: Eirakusou
Here is the best restaurant in the first half of 2024. Here is the most delicious BBQ restaurant in Kagoshima and in JAPAN!!!
They offer the freshest Black Satsuma Chicken, Black pork and Black beefs. When you bite, it’ll melt!!! (How can I express this!?) If you have this quality beefs in Tokyo, it’s super expensive, like more than JPY20,000. However, Eirakuso is not expensive. It’s reasonable!, even if they offer the best quality foods! All people who have a plan to visit Kamakura, you MUST visit here!
