Actually, I don’t have driver license so I can’t drive a car. Last year, I asked a friend of mine and used a taxi to visit somewhere else. You know, when you use a bus and a train, you need to check time table. You have to make a plan severe. To ease making travel plan, I used a taxi instead.
Let me show you where I visited and how road trip made me ease to trip around. Let’s look back my trip history in 2024!
1. Aomori
To see Hanami, I visited Hirosaki city, Aomori. I mainly used a bus for road trip. More than I expected, there are many buses to go to my destination. Anyway, if you wanna visit Aomori, spring season is the best!
2. Izu
Izu is one of famous resort place in Japan. To relax, I visited Izu with my mom. There are so many hotels and beautiful sightseeing spots in this area. I met a friend of my mom and we asked him to drive. He made us travel around easily.
3. Seoul, Korea
Sooooo fun trip especially shopping. In my opinion, Korea doesn’t have a lot of sightseeing spots compared to others. But instead, I enjoyed shopping. I bought a lot of clothes and pants, which is my favorite design and color. Of course I used a taxi from shopping place to dinner place. But it was difficult to order a taxi. In Korea, they use Kakao taxi. I didn’t have an account and was not familiar with using the app. A friend of mine called directly to order a taxi!
4. Yamanashi
If you can drive in Japan, you are better to use a car from Tokyo. Only disadvantage is traffic jam. But, it takes same time by a train and a car. In my case, Summer is the best for you to visit. You need to visit river side. Then forget hot environment!
5. Hiroshima
A road trip in Hiroshima helped me to trip. Actually, Miyajima, and A-bomb (in city center) it’s very close compared to other countryside. So you don’t need to use a bus. However, when you come from Hiroshima Airport, you need a road trip by a bus. It takes about one hour to go. Except for access from airport, everything are perfect.
6. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Definitely here!!!!! TAXI!!!!
Taxi fee is super reasonable! So every way to go to somewhere else, I used a taxi. Of course, to visit Mekong Delta, a taxi helped me. Plus, a driver was so kind! He told me how to join the tour and where I had to go. For Vietnam trip, you have to use a taxi!
7. Singapore
In Singapore trip, a taxi also helped me. More than I expected, the fee was reasonable compared to other countries including Japan. From an airport to Marina Bay Sands and vice versa. When I visit my destination, to go back to the hotel, a taxi helped me.
Totally, a road trip makes us ease to trip around. We don’t think about time too much. In particular, when you trip in South East Asia, you are better to use a taxi!
